Job Summary: A geology professional responsible for drill planning, core logging, data management, mineral prospecting and exploration, 3D modeling, and grade estimation. Key Highlights: 1. Carry out drill planning, ensure sample collection quality, log drill cores, mark samples, populate the geological database, supervise technical work conducted under your responsibility. Conduct surface and subsurface geological mapping. Manage the geological database. Prospect targets for geological exploration activities aimed at identifying anomalous areas with potential for discovering a mineral deposit. Perform geological and geophysical surveys, collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data; manage sampling; characterize and measure physical, chemical, and mechanical parameters of geological materials; estimate geometry and spatial distribution of geological bodies and structures; prepare technical and scientific maps and reports. Perform 3D modeling using mining software, estimate grades based on geostatistical routines, and classify resources. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Provide geological support to mining operations. * Lead and guide exploration and mine geology activities alongside technicians and assistants. * Ensure technical quality of requested services through evaluation and guidance of analytical plans, monitoring of analyses, and issuance of results. * Prospect targets for exploration work. * Evaluate opportunities presented for target prospecting. * Participate in strategic planning for prospecting and exploration. * Contribute to improving quality and productivity of work through research, development, and optimization of analytical methods. * Generate maps and reports on evaluations of prospected targets. * Lead field teams in exploration activities. * Define and ensure execution of sampling routes, preparation, and chemical analyses of exploration samples. * Comply with the company’s internal procedures and controls as applicable. * Carry out mine geology activities, ensuring rational use of resources and personnel to meet the unit’s economic, safety, and environmental guidelines. * Perform 3D modeling in mining software, estimate grades based on geostatistical routines, and classify resources. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Geology. * Relevant experience in the role. * Active CREA-MT registration. * RM/TOTVS system. * Proficiency in Datamine, Leapfrog, Minesight, ArcGIS, QGIS, Global Mapper, Google Earth, Surfer, and Corel Draw software. * Microsoft Office suite. * Intermediate/Advanced English (desirable). * Driver’s license category B. **Additional Information** * Chartered transportation. * Meals provided at the company. * Medical assistance. * Dental assistance. * Life insurance. * Funeral assistance. * Food allowance. * Christmas basket. * Daycare assistance. * Housing allowance. * PPR (Profit Sharing Plan).
