Arts Teacher – Upper Elementary School – Natal/RN

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual passionate about the school environment! **Join our Team!** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Plan, implement, and assess arts-related teaching activities in accordance with the Brazilian National Common Curriculum (BNCC) and the school’s Pedagogical Political Project. * Develop lesson plans incorporating multiple artistic languages (visual arts, music, dance, and theater), focusing on students’ creative and critical development. * Monitor student performance, document evidence, and provide pedagogical feedback. * Support students’ academic and socioemotional development. * Participate in pedagogical meetings, professional development sessions, and class councils. * Promote initiatives that foster aesthetic sensitivity, artistic expression, and cultural appreciation. * Organize appropriate materials, resources, and spaces for arts practice. * Employ active learning methodologies and technological resources to enhance learning. * Maintain up-to-date records of attendance, performance, and incidents. * Contribute to a positive school climate by acting ethically and collaboratively to build an inclusive, democratic, and healthy coexistence culture. * Foster an environment of mutual respect, dialogue, and cooperation in the classroom. * Collaborate on interdisciplinary projects and school events. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Full Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Visual Arts, Art Education, or related fields, with certification qualifying teaching in Upper Elementary School (Ensino Fundamental II). * Prior classroom teaching experience. * Familiarity with the BNCC and the specific arts competencies for 8th grade. * Ability to work with diverse artistic languages and active learning methodologies. * Strong communication, organizational skills, and capacity for conflict mediation. **Additional Information** * CLT employment contract.
