Job Summary: A civil construction professional responsible for performing various tasks on construction sites, including masonry, surface finishing, screed work, demolition, and installation of door and window frames. Preparation of screeds and controlled demolition **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:** * **Masonry Structures:** Constructing and laying walls, fences, and partitions using bricks, ceramic blocks, or concrete blocks. In hospitals and clinics, for example, precise wall construction is critical for installing medical equipment and complex electrical systems. * **Surface Finishing and Coating:** Applying scratch coat, base coat, and finish coat to walls and ceilings to create a smooth, uniform surface for painting, tiling, and other claddings. Also laying floor and wall ceramic tiles, porcelain tiles, and mosaic tiles. Finishing quality is essential in high-standard locations such as retail stores, gyms, and hospitals. * **Screeds:** Preparing and executing screeds, ensuring correct level and slope for final flooring installation. This is crucial in areas requiring drainage, such as bathrooms and kitchens. * **Demolition and Repair:** Performing controlled demolition of existing walls and structures according to plans, and repairing completed masonry structures. * **Door and Window Frame Installation:** Assisting in the installation of doors and windows (frames), and constructing lintels and relieving arches—reinforcement elements above openings. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Willingness to travel to any municipality in the country. * Valid and up-to-date personal documentation.
