




**Job Description** The Cashier is responsible for registering and collecting payments for guest and external customer consumption, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in service delivery. The role is aligned with the hotel’s hospitality standards, guaranteeing a courteous, efficient, and professional guest experience. **Requirements** * Completed high school education; * Prior experience as a Cashier or Cash Operator; * Excellent guest service and communication skills; * Organizational ability, attention to detail, and accuracy in transaction entries; * Agility in performing tasks and capacity to work under high-volume conditions; * Discretion and professional demeanor consistent with hospitality standards; * Problem-solving ability; * Availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and alternate shifts; * Basic computer literacy and proficiency in integrated systems; * Basic English (or other language) knowledge is a plus. **Key Responsibilities:** * Greet guests and customers at the payment point with courtesy and professionalism; * Register orders and consumption in the restaurant’s point-of-sale (POS) system; * Verify order tickets, table numbers, consumption details, and room data, where applicable; * Issue invoices, receipts, and complete account settlements; * Process payments via cash, credit/debit cards, PIX, room charge (posting to guest room account), and other available methods; * Validate room charge authorization according to hotel policies; * Open and close the cash register daily, reconciling cash amounts and generating reports; * Record discrepancies, correct operational errors, and report them to supervision; * Clarify guest inquiries regarding charges and consumption while maintaining a welcoming attitude; * Provide information on operating hours, restaurant services, and hotel amenities; * Forward specific requests to the dining room team, front desk, or management; * Adhere to security protocols, internal policies, and service standards (SOPs).
