Construction project management and operational cost control **Description:** Plan and develop long-term goals and short-term objectives. **Responsibilities:** * Analyze processes inherent to the area of responsibility, proposing and implementing improvements to maximize results, meeting the company’s expectations regarding productivity indices and cost reduction; * Supervise and guide activities within the area of responsibility, evaluating and identifying training (operational) needs as well as workforce replacement requirements, to ensure service and generated information quality, reliability, and performance; * Prepare various reports to support, provide, and forward information and other data related to the area of responsibility to the Immediate Supervisor, other departments of the Company, and external agencies, in accordance with pre-established norms and procedures; * Collaborate with the Contract Manager on annual budgetary control, monitoring monthly forecasts, controlling costs to align forecasts and reduce operational costs; * Structure and prepare the Detailed Schedule; * Develop and implement the methodology for construction project monitoring, according to parameters established at the start of the project; * Structure and monitor productivity index management; * Implement and manage the Service Measurement System; * Control measured service quantities and remaining quantities to be measured; * Manage the issuance and preparation of monthly reports; * Monitor services, measurements, and issued invoices; * Plan, organize, and control activities, work teams, and resources for civil construction project execution; * Map the company’s critical processes, resources, and issues; * Plan and develop long-term goals and short-term objectives; * Support the execution of business plans and key initiatives; * Identify threats or opportunities; * Coordinate the planning and measurement team, preparing schedules, controlling and programming production, preparing and controlling the supply map (raw materials and other inputs); * Handle information in registration records, reports, and drafting of work instructions; * Plan team workload and ensure all report submission deadlines are met; * Interact with managers to enhance and develop new reporting perspectives that meet their needs and enable decision-making; * Prepare progress reports and analyze issues affecting productivity, profitability, and company growth; * Schedule mobilization of machinery and equipment; * Attend meetings and perform organization and cleaning of the workstation; * Prepare documents relevant to the position; * Comply with internal policies, procedures, manuals, service orders, and work instructions to meet the company’s management systems, such as quality, safety, occupational medicine, environment, among others; * Perform other related tasks upon request by the Immediate Supervisor. **Qualifications/Knowledge:** * Microsoft Office Suite; * MS Project; * Primavera P6; * Process mapping, process improvement, and strategic planning.
