Join this team! **COME TRANSFORM LIVES—INCLUDING YOUR OWN.** **Responsibilities and Duties** **The main challenges as ASSISTANT PROFESSOR I – MICROBIOLOGY AND IMMUNOLOGY, AND CLINICAL MICROBIOLOGY – NATAL are:** * Serve as the primary agent implementing the pedagogical proposal of our educational institutions, facilitating the learning process and fully delivering the course syllabus—including the scheduled number of classes—and continuously stimulating students’ interest in study, reflection, and the pursuit of new knowledge; * Appropriately utilize available teaching materials and encourage students’ use of bibliographic resources for the discipline—including books and journals available in the library—to foster critical and reflective learning; * Meet all deadlines established in the academic calendar, as well as fulfill requests made by your respective course coordinator; * Record attendance, class content, academic activity results, and other information related to curriculum components in the electronic gradebook within the timeframe defined by the academic calendar; * Contribute to preparatory activities for the ENADE (National Student Performance Exam); * Advise students on their final course projects; * Employ active learning methodologies and the flipped classroom model when delivering instruction. **Requirements and Qualifications** **We seek professionals with:** * Academic qualification: **MASTER’S OR DOCTORAL DEGREE**; * Mandatory undergraduate degree or specialization in **BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES OR RELATED FIELDS**; * Strong communication skills, ability to relate to students, adaptability, and flexibility; * Up-to-date theoretical and practical knowledge relevant to the subject area; * Proficiency in Microsoft Teams; * A current Lattes CV is mandatory—this is one of the disqualification criteria.
