We have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a **Production Operator** to join our team. Based in Poços de Caldas/MG and reporting to the Production Leader, you will be responsible for controlling and ensuring the proper operation of the machine assigned to wire production, according to operational procedure specifications and in compliance with company policies and regulations. **Your responsibilities will include:** * Performing basic machine-level activities * Performing cleaning and extrusion tool replacement * Assisting in cable transfer onto take-up reels of extruders * Occasionally operating take-up and pay-off reels (relevant areas) * Transferring polyester and metallic tapes * Performing high-relief and ink marking on cables (relevant areas) * Cutting and transferring wires/cables, packaging them onto spools and reels * Identifying and packaging finished products * Assisting in cable repair when necessary * Conducting self-inspection of products * Consulting and monitoring OEE * Operating raw material, production, and scrap tracking systems * Performing applicable Lean Manufacturing activities * Assisting in workplace cleaning and organization * Operating overhead cranes when required and according to area-specific tasks (subject to training and certification) * Ensuring all processes and activities under your responsibility comply with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OSHAS 18001 standards * Halting any activity that compromises employee/contractor safety or environmental integrity **Who Are We Looking For?** We seek a professional with the following competencies and motivations: * Completed high school education; * Proactivity; * Teamwork; * Strong organizational sense; * Awareness of Occupational Safety; * Prior industrial experience preferred. *Prysmian, as an Equal Opportunity Employer, aims to attract and recruit individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and abilities.
