If you aspire to drive transformation and believe you can add value to challenges involving social and environmental responsibility, Engemon is the ideal place for you! **Main Responsibilities:** * Develop and implement environmental management plans for civil construction projects, including control of contaminated areas and remediation. * Monitor construction activities in areas with a history of oil and derivative contamination, ensuring proper segregation, packaging, and disposal of waste in accordance with legislation (Law No. 12\.305/2010; CONAMA Resolutions 275/01, 307/02, 430/11\). * Monitor and validate procedures for removal and relocation of monitoring wells, pipelines, and existing remediation systems, per client guidelines. * Ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations (CONAMA, ABNT, NRs) and internal requirements of the contracting party. * Supervise the installation and operation of Industrial and Sanitary Wastewater Treatment Plants (ETEI/ETE) and Oil-Water Separators (SAO). * Control and report environmental indicators, including solid waste management, effluents, and atmospheric emissions. * Prepare technical reports, ARTs (Technical Responsibility Annotations), and evidence of compliance with environmental requirements for contractual billing. * Prevent and respond to environmental emergencies (leaks, spills), maintaining appropriate emergency kits onsite. * Support environmental licensing and authorization processes, where applicable. * Ensure proper segregation, packaging, transportation, and disposal of contaminated waste, in compliance with environmental legislation and internal standards. * Coordinate actions for prevention, containment, and remediation of contaminated soils, including monitoring and recovery of degraded areas. * Prepare and maintain records of final waste disposal, technical reports, and environmental licenses. * Supervise licensed suppliers and transporters for hazardous waste. * Implement erosion control and drainage measures to prevent soil contamination. * Comply with standards such as CONAMA 420/2009 and other applicable legal requirements. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Completed undergraduate degree in Environmental Engineering (active registration with CREA). * Experience in managing contaminated areas, including remediation and monitoring techniques. * Knowledge of Brazilian environmental legislation and applicable standards (CONAMA, Law No. 12\.305/2010, Law No. 9\.985/2000, Law No. 12\.651/2012\). * Familiarity with wastewater treatment systems and hazardous waste management. * Ability to interpret executive construction project documents and descriptive specifications. * Experience in industrial or railway construction projects is desirable. **What We Expect From You:** * Effective communication to establish strong client relationships; * Teamwork to foster a friendly environment; * Organizational skills to manage daily tasks; * Dynamism to handle a variety of activities and challenges. **Why Work at Engemon:** Working at Engemon means joining a company with a rich history, tackling a diverse range of stimulating projects, accessing opportunities for personal development, being part of an organizational culture that prioritizes collaboration, health, and well-being, and contributing to projects that generate positive impacts.
