Job Summary: This professional will assist in the preparation, transportation, and handling of materials; perform cleaning and organization of work areas; and support paving, earthmoving, and drainage teams on road construction projects. Knowledge of occupational safety and accident prevention #### **Responsibilities** * Assist in preparing, transporting, and handling materials such as crushed stone, sand, cement, asphalt, and aggregates at the construction site. * Perform continuous cleaning and organization of work areas, ensuring removal of debris and waste in accordance with safety regulations. * Support paving, earthmoving, and drainage teams in performing manual tasks, including asphalt mix spreading, soil leveling, and trench excavation. * Operate hand tools such as shovels, picks, hoes, and sledges, as well as light equipment such as manual soil compactors and concrete vibrators, under supervision. * Collaborate in assembling and disassembling safety signage, barriers, and temporary structures required for road construction. * Strictly adhere to occupational safety procedures and correctly use designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for each activity. * Perform basic maintenance and upkeep of tools and equipment used, reporting any anomalies. #### **Requirements** * Proven experience (minimum of 1 year) in civil construction work, preferably in road or heavy infrastructure projects. * Demonstrated physical stamina to perform tasks requiring continuous physical effort, lifting of weights, and working outdoors under varying weather conditions. * Basic knowledge of common civil construction materials used in road projects (e.g., concrete, asphalt, aggregate stones, soils). * Familiarity with safe and efficient operation of hand tools and light construction-site equipment. * Availability to work rotating shifts, overtime, and at various project locations along the highway route. * Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and collaborate proactively within a team. * Fundamental understanding of occupational safety standards and accident prevention practices at construction sites. #### **Skills** * Handling of Hand Tools (Shovel, Pick, Hoe, Sledge) * Preparation of Materials (Mortar, Plain Concrete) * Construction Site Cleaning and Organization * Use of ### **Benefits:** Meal Allowance, Performance Bonus, Health Insurance Plan, Dental Insurance Plan, Wellhub \- Formerly Gympass, Life Insurance, Transportation Allowance/Cost Assistance, Accommodation, On-site Meals ### **Department:** OPERATIONAL
