Focus on safety and operational compliance The Junior Electromechanical Technician is the professional responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment. **Preventive and Corrective Maintenance**: Perform preventive maintenance on electromechanical equipment to prevent failures and minimize downtime. Carry out corrective maintenance to resolve issues and restore normal system operation. **Installation and Assembly**: Assist in the installation and assembly of new electromechanical equipment and systems, following technical specifications and safety guidelines. Test and adjust equipment after installation to ensure proper operation. **Diagnosis and Problem Resolution**: Diagnose failures and issues in systems and equipment using measurement and analysis tools. Implement appropriate solutions to repair failures and ensure functionality of systems, machines, and equipment. **Inspection and Testing**: Conduct regular inspections and tests on equipment to verify performance and compliance with specifications. Document inspection and test results, and report any anomalies to the coordinator. **Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including services performed, parts replaced, and issues identified. Prepare maintenance and equipment status reports as required. **Safety and Compliance**: Strictly adhere to all safety standards and operational procedures while performing tasks. Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure workplace safety. **Technical Support and Collaboration**: Provide technical support to other team members and equipment users to ensure optimal asset performance. Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and production, to ensure equipment meets operational requirements. **Learning and Development**: Participate in training and capacity-building programs to stay updated on new technologies and maintenance techniques.
