Key Responsibilities:* Control mold maintenance and inventory * Develop improvements to molds, fixtures, and extraction processes * Monitor engineering change notices (ECNs) and change management processes * Support production with technical clarifications regarding drawings, designs, and processes * Monitor physical and systemic production performance * Develop operational procedures and production routings * Lead improvement projects focused on safety and quality * Train employees on procedures and best practices * Conduct technical analyses and 8D reports * Monitor mold execution and maintenance, as well as design revisions * Safety first: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero-incident behaviors in support of our effort to develop a world-class safety culture Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:* Technical education in mechanical, plastics, elastomers, or manufacturing fields * Bachelor’s degree preferred * Relevant experience with solid knowledge of technical drawing software (CAD), mold and manufacturing process design, as well as reading and interpreting technical drawings and metrology * Prior experience in rubber or plastic parts production processes is preferred * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and agile technologies (preferred) * Intermediate English is a plus Founded in 1871, Weir Group is a leading mining technology company committed to making mineral operations more sustainable, intelligent, and efficient.
