Job Summary: This role involves end-to-end management of data projects, acting as a technical focal point, coordinating with various teams, and ensuring project progression and technical alignment, while leveraging Databricks and SQL skills. Experience with Databricks and SQL . **Responsibilities and Duties** * Lead and monitor data projects end-to-end, from refinement/discovery through validation and go-live; * Organize and lead meetings with technical and business teams to gather and detail requirements; * Develop and maintain technical and functional documentation in collaboration with relevant teams; * Serve as the project’s technical focal point, bridging multiple areas (development, architecture, security, integration, quality, networking, and business); * Route requirements to the responsible technical development team (vendors and internal teams); * Monitor delivery progress, ensuring the project advances according to plan; * Identify and resolve blockers by collaborating with involved teams; * Monitor testing, validation, and production deployment phases; * Discuss technical solutions with architects and specialized teams, ensuring alignment with current architecture; * Support technical validations when required, including database queries; * Track initiative progress and maintain clear communication with stakeholders; * Ensure organization, traceability, and smooth flow of data project-related requests. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Proven experience in data engineering and data architecture projects using Databricks; * Experience in data-focused projects; * Experience leading refinements, discovery, and detailed specification of technical and functional requirements; * Ability to interact effectively with multiple technical and business teams; * Generalist technical background enabling discussion of solutions with architects and development teams; * Proficiency in SQL, with ability to perform basic queries when needed; * Experience monitoring testing, validation, and production rollout; * Strong organizational skills, professional maturity, and excellent communication abilities; * Proactive mindset, capable of removing blockers and coordinating requirements. **Additional Information** #remote Compass UOL is a global firm and part of the AI Revolution Company, together transforming organizations using Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and other of today’s most advanced technologies.
