Job Description We are seeking a Transportation Leader to coordinate and monitor transportation operations, ensuring on-time delivery, service quality, safety, and operational efficiency. The role entails leading the team, interfacing with internal departments, and managing operational KPIs. Key Responsibilities * Lead and guide drivers and helpers; * Plan, monitor, and optimize transportation routes; * Ensure adherence to delivery and pickup deadlines; * Monitor performance indicators (OTIF, productivity, costs, and damages); * Ensure compliance with safety standards and transportation legislation; * Manage team work schedules, shift planning, timekeeping, and absenteeism; * Support recruitment, onboarding, and training processes for drivers; * Address incidents, damages, and non-conformities; * Maintain communication with customers, suppliers, and internal departments. Requirements * Completed high school education (technical or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields preferred); * Proven experience in transportation/logistics operations; * Experience leading teams; * Knowledge of route planning and transportation KPIs; * Familiarity with transportation regulations and driver working-hour legislation; * Basic proficiency in Excel and management/ERP systems. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with freight carriers or distribution operations; * Knowledge of TMS (Transportation Management Systems); * Driver’s license category B (or higher).
