Job Summary:
Conducts physicochemical tests, participates in product and process development, and supervises chemical and unit operations in laboratory and production environments.

Conducts physicochemical tests; participates in product and process development, as well as in the definition or restructuring of industrial facilities; supervises chemical process operations and unit operations in laboratory and production settings. Interprets manuals and prepares routine technical documentation and legal records.
Responsibilities: Finished product and raw material analysis; Issuance and closure of production orders; Provides production support when required; Controls raw material and finished product inventory; Requests procurement of raw and laboratory materials; Conducts "salt spray" tests and issues reports; Responsible for laboratory equipment cleaning and maintenance; Responsible for calibration and certification of glassware; Supports structuring of the control map for incoming and outgoing controlled products (Civil Police and Federal Police); Assists in new product development; Operates forklifts as needed; Ensures product quality control; Reviews raw material and finished product documentation; Prepares reports and legal documentation in the chemical field (SDS, literature, and reports); Provides guidance on PPE usage; Performs related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Preferred: 2 years of experience in a Chemical Laboratory; completed technical training in Chemistry, or currently in the final year of a Technology or Bachelor's degree program in Chemistry.
