We are seeking a talent for the position of NOC TECHNICIAN
**Let’s transform collaboration into results—together?**
Ensure availability, performance, and continuity of network and infrastructure services monitored by the NOC, providing technical support to customers, analyzing and handling alarms, performing preliminary diagnostics, resolving faults, and appropriately escalating incidents—ensuring SLA compliance and operational excellence.
**Responsibilities and duties** **In this role, you will work at the Equatorial Telecom unit in São Luís/MA** and will be responsible for:
Check out some of the challenges you’ll face daily:
Support customers via phone, WhatsApp, email, and Telegram, registering and tracking requests.
Monitor environments using tools such as Zabbix and Grafana, performing alarm analysis, qualification, and classification.
Perform preliminary incident analysis according to runbooks, playbooks, and POPs.
Remotely access network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.) via SSH, Fortigate console, and other specific tools.
Execute scripts for information collection, testing, and corrections.
Use ticketing systems such as ServiceNow and Elleven (Voalle) to register, update, close, and query incidents.
Fix configuration failures, restore services, and validate applied solutions per operational procedures.
Thoroughly document all technical actions performed in tickets.
Update and maintain recognition data and incident handling details in Zabbix.
Use spreadsheets for backlog control, data extraction and analysis, log generation, and operational reporting.
Maintain clear, continuous communication with customers, internal teams, and suppliers regarding incident status.
Initiate and monitor tickets with telecom vendors, carriers, and field teams.
Escalate high-complexity incidents to Level 1 or Level 2, providing full diagnostics, evidence, and history of executed actions.
Participate in post-incident reviews (RCA / RFO), contributing technical insights and preventive suggestions.
Conduct structured shift handovers to ensure operational continuity.
**Requirements and qualifications**
For this opportunity, we expect the following from you:
**Experience in:**
Zabbix (alarm analysis, qualification, and handling)
Ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Elleven, or similar)
Runbook / Playbook execution
Detailed technical logging in tickets
SLA management and incident prioritization
Connectivity troubleshooting
Clear communication with customers and vendors
