Team and industrial process management **About the Role** We seek an **Operations Manager** to lead the factory’s daily operations and ensure full control over production, yards, racks, materials, personnel, inventory, and warehouse—guaranteeing **quality, productivity, safety, and on-time delivery**, with a high standard of organization and accountability. **Responsibilities and Activities** **1) Operational Control (yard, racks, materials, and organization)** * Perform **yard control**, organize **racks**, and ensure proper material placement. * Guarantee **standardized storage**, identification, and safe handling of sheets/parts. * Supervise the **overall material organization** and appropriate working environment in the factory. **2) General Inventory and Warehouse Management** * Be responsible for **certifying inventory integrity and accuracy** (general inventory and warehouse). * Control receipts, issues, inventories, losses, damages, and discrepancies. * Validate dimensions, codes, material types, and commercial information to prevent errors. **3) Dispatch, Delivery Orders, and Waybill Verification** * **Supervise and authorize** all dispatches and delivery orders. * Prior to each delivery, **verify waybills**, quantities, dimensions, material types, finishes, and product condition. * Confirm that deliveries are **100% aligned with sales orders** and company standards. **4) Quality of Produced and Shipped Materials** * Be responsible for **quality inspection and release** of all produced and shipped materials. * Ensure finish standards, integrity, and compliance with dimensions and specifications. * Prevent returns, rework, and complaints by documenting incidents and corrective actions. **5) Productivity and Team Leadership** * Conduct **productivity and team performance monitoring** (targets, pace, discipline, efficiency). * Ensure all staff comply with **internal regulations**, culture, vision, and conduct standards. * Identify bottlenecks and propose improvements to **increase productivity without compromising quality and safety**. * Ensure the team is consistently **trained and prepared** for demand; request training when necessary. * Inform and justify when it is necessary to **hire new employees** to meet demand. **6) Safety, PPE, and Uniforms** * Ensure correct use of **uniforms and PPE** and compliance with safety regulations. * Act preventively to reduce risks and protect team members, customers, and company assets. **7) Integrity, Compliance, and Prevention of Irregularities** * Maintain an environment of **integrity and security**, preventing improper practices such as: * material diversion and theft * prohibited/irregular sales * misconduct or bad faith by customers or employees * any violation of internal rules * Monitor whether applied **dimensions and prices** are correct, avoiding inconsistencies and losses. **8) Asset Management and Maintenance (machinery, vehicles, fixed assets)** * Supervise the integrity of **heavy and light machinery**, vehicles, supplies, and fixed assets. * Upon identifying failures in machines/racks/equipment, **immediately forward for repair**. * Plan alternatives to ensure productivity is **not compromised** by unexpected stoppages. **9) Production Control and Planning/Scheduling (PCP)** * Manage **PCP and production scheduling routines**, aligning productive capacity with orders. * Ensure **delivery deadlines** are met precisely, with controlled and prioritized order execution. **10) Reporting, KPIs, and Performance Monitoring** * Provide regular reports on: * productivity per team/shift/day * labor cost per hour (and operational efficiency) * on-time deliveries vs. delays (causes and corrective actions) * role compliance per employee * delivery quality and customer satisfaction level * Maintain records and evidence of verifications, releases, and incidents. **Requirements** * Proven experience; knowledge of **marble and granite, stonemasonry, sawmills, stone processing**, or similar industrial/logistics environments is a plus. * Strong experience in **team management**, **inventory, warehouse, PCP and PP, industrial processes, dispatch, material control**. * Leadership capability: discipline, respectful accountability, routine organization, and standardization. * Extreme attention to detail (dimensions, material types, finishes, quantities, and orders). * Familiarity with reporting and controls (intermediate/advanced Excel and general Management Systems).
