**Responsibilities and Duties**
As an **Automation Technician**, you will:
* Execute automation projects in collaboration with engineering teams, organizing development and performing detailed design—from initial formulation through to client implementation.
* Prepare specifications, logic diagrams; interconnection and loop diagrams; P&I flowcharts; specifications, data sheets, and instrument lists;
* Develop CLP and/or supervisory application software; field network projects; CLP and electrical panel projects; DF analyses; cable lists; platform and field testing; commissioning; start-up; assisted operation; training.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
Required Education:
* Technical course in automation, electrical engineering, electronics, data processing, or related field.
Desirable Knowledge:
* Hardware knowledge of control systems (PLCs, DCS, remote data acquisition units, power supplies, UPS systems, electrical panels)
* Proficiency in developing CLP (Programmable Logic Controller), DCS, and/or supervisory application software;
* Preparation of equipment and instrument specifications, logic diagrams, interconnection and loop diagrams;
* Platform, field, and start-up testing;
* Assisted operation;
* Training.
* Process control instrumentation knowledge;
* Electrical equipment knowledge;
* Industrial field network knowledge;
* Optical fiber networks and associated accessories knowledge;
* Familiarity with motor starters and drives (Soft Starters, Frequency Inverters), MCCs, substations, and electrical controls;
* Knowledge of NR-10;
* Professional registration required.
