About the Opportunity: Alcoa is seeking a Production Supervisor to join our Reduction team at the Alumar facility in São Luís, Maranhão, responsible for: * Integrating operational teams toward a common direction and collaborating with maintenance and planning functions to efficiently achieve or exceed departmental and company objectives related to safety, health, environment, quality, and production—at minimum cost; * Leading EHS programs within the area of responsibility, ensuring alignment with company policy objectives through full engagement of direct and indirect subordinates and other stakeholders (e.g., contractors), aiming to reduce incident rates, improve employee health, and decrease environmental incidents; * Aligning operational maintenance interventions to maximize equipment availability; * Supervising the performance evaluation process, promotions, and identification of hourly staff training needs—continuously pursuing professional development of operators; * Leading critical analysis of operational performance indicators to allocate and direct resources effectively, thereby resolving issues and achieving targeted productivity and efficiency levels; * Supervising field operations and engaging with the operational team to identify and implement optimal operating and process standards. What You Can Bring to This Role: * Technical education in related fields; * Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering is desirable; * Intermediate English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking) is desirable; * Prior experience in this role is desirable; * Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
