Does this resonate with you? **We are seeking a Production Operator II to take on challenges at our new second-generation ethanol plant, located in the Morro Agudo region of São Paulo state.** **Responsibilities and duties** **YOUR TYPICAL DAY:** * Perform daily tasks with excellence, strictly adhering to occupational safety procedures; * Responsible for **field operations** across the Pre-Treatment, Hydrolysis, Fermentation, Boilers, Cogeneration, and Solid Separation areas; * Serve as backup for Production Operator III during their absence, assuming their scope of work in COI operations; * Ensure standardized execution of work by following established procedures and proposing process improvements; * Responsible for field valve manipulation, monitoring equipment shutdowns and startups—including pumps, agitators, motors + gearboxes, etc.; * Implement equipment safety lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures for maintenance activities; * Clean work areas and equipment; * Inspect process lines to identify potential anomalies; * Conduct sensory equipment analysis—monitoring vibration, temperature, and abnormal noise during operation; * Evaluate equipment performance against process standards and act to ensure the quality of the processes involved; * Perform minor repairs during operations—e.g., valve maintenance, replacement of consumable items in equipment, pipeline welding, and boiler shop work; * Support maintenance activities as required by the plant; * Collect and analyze process samples—assessing solids content, pH, temperature, concentration, etc.; * Replenish production inputs to ensure continuity of required dosages; * Monitor production indicators and control variables, reporting deviations via shift logbook and to the Shift Operations Manager (GO); * Complete sector-specific checklists, verifying each item’s control range and implementing corrective actions when necessary; * Utilize company management tools to drive excellence in safety, quality, and efficiency; * Develop backup capability in your role, facilitating knowledge transfer to Production Operator I; * Ensure seamless information handover between shifts; * Take proactive actions to achieve production and safety targets. **Requirements and qualifications** **WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:** * Completed high school education; * Technical training preferred (completed or in progress); * Valid driver’s license (Brazilian CNH – Category B); * Industrial experience (field operations), preferably in sugar & ethanol, chemical, or pulp & paper industries; * Willingness to reside in the Ribeirão Preto/SP region (Morro Agudo, São Joaquim da Barra, and/or Orlândia). **Additional information** **SELECTION PROCESS STEPS:** Our selection process comprises three main stages (additional steps may apply, and you’ll be informed if you advance): * Application—completion of this form and any additional data, if required. * HR interview—a conversation to get to know each other. * Leadership interview—a more technical discussion about day-to-day responsibilities and challenges.
