SOUND AND LIGHTING TECHNICIAN I

At Aviva, we serve with passion for people; therefore, we are constantly seeking talents who are continuously developing, possess open minds, overcome obstacles, and contribute fresh ideas. **Responsibilities and Duties** Responsible for the setup and operation of sound and lighting systems at designated locations for recreation activities, shows, and entertainment events, adhering to established operational and quality standards. Install and operate sound and lighting equipment. Assist with preventive maintenance of components integrated into the lighting and sound systems; Assist in managing and updating the inventory of equipment required for scenic lighting and sound reinforcement of performances, including tools inherent to these activities; Receive, inspect, and safeguard tools, materials, equipment, and other items under one’s custody, necessary to carry out assigned tasks; Assist in maintaining the electrical system of the circuit integrated into the lighting grid. Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment performed by third parties; Assist in assembling and disassembling technical riders for lighting and sound related to scenic performances; Assist in monitoring technical rehearsals and artistic performances of touring and/or seasonal shows, as well as conduct sound checks for contracted bands, ensuring optimal audio delivery and sound quality. Ensure proper use and assume responsibility for operating equipment used by professionals traveling with performances presented at the Park and Resorts. Guarantee sound quality across the entire complex, ensuring compliance with established acoustic standards and decibel levels. **Requirements and Qualifications** Completed High School or Technical Course Technical Workshops/Training on Scenic Lighting; Technical Workshops/Training on Soundtracks for Performances; Prior experience as an Audio and/or Lighting Operator for theater, dance, or similar performances.
