




Job Summary: Machine Operator responsible for reading and interpreting technical drawings, programming and operating woodworking machinery, inspecting parts, and ensuring basic equipment maintenance. Key Highlights: 1. Operate various woodworking machines, including CNCs 2. Perform quality control and preventive maintenance of equipment 3. Produce wooden parts with precision and efficiency Machine Operator \- Read and interpret technical drawings to understand cutting and machining specifications. • Calibrate, adjust, and program machines (saws, routers, drills, CNCs) for production. • Feed raw materials (wood) into machines. • Operate equipment to machine, cut, plane, drill, and finish wooden parts. * Inspect produced parts by comparing them against technical specifications and quality standards. • Control material waste by segregating defective parts for recycling. • Ensure production targets are met. • Perform basic cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenance of machines. * Identify malfunctions and request corrective maintenance, testing equipment after repair. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace, using PPE (personal protective equipment). Practical knowledge of various woodworking machines is essential, such as planers, thicknessers, circular saws, routers, edge banders, and, in some cases, CNC (computer numerical control) machines. • High school diploma or equivalent. * Must possess the ability to operate machines to produce parts within expected tolerances, control quality, and perform dimensional inspection using calibrated instruments.
