Description: * Completed undergraduate degree in Information Technology fields (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, or related areas). * Postgraduate qualification (mandatory): Specialist degree (lato sensu), Master’s degree, or Doctorate (stricto sensu) in IT-related or Education fields. * Proven teaching experience in higher education, preferably in IT-related programs. * Relevant professional or academic experience in the subject areas to be taught. * Technical Knowledge and Disciplines * Candidates must possess expertise and the ability to teach the following interdisciplinary courses across Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and IT Management programs: * Algorithms and Programming Techniques: Programming logic, data structures, and algorithms. * Mobile Development: Programming for mobile platforms (Android/iOS, native or hybrid frameworks). * Web Development: Front-end and back-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, frameworks, web databases). * Databases: Modeling, administration, and query languages (SQL and NoSQL). * Excellent communication and pedagogical skills. * Commitment to teaching quality and student development. Teaching and Pedagogical Activities * Delivering Classes: Conduct theoretical and practical classes for Information Technology programs, with emphasis on Systems Analysis and Development. * Curriculum Development: Design and update course content and teaching materials (course syllabi, slides, exercises, case studies) aligned with industry best practices. * Active Learning Methodologies: Apply and integrate agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum or Kanban) into course planning and academic activities. * Student Assessment: Design, administer, and grade assessment instruments—including exams, assignments, projects, and presentations—to evaluate student performance and learning outcomes. Academic Supervision and Research * Academic Supervision: Supervise and guide research projects, undergraduate theses (TCCs), and IT development projects. Integration of Theory and Practice * Practical Application: Foster connections between theory and real-world professional practice by encouraging software testing, implementation of information security measures, and use of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
