This position offers an excellent opportunity to design and build systems for projects at one of the largest retail companies in the country. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Help us design the solution!** If you enjoy development work, thrive on challenges, appreciate implementing solutions grounded in best practices, and are open to working in teams that respect who you are and your opinions, you are VERY close to joining our DB team. In this project, you will work with a major retail client. **Responsibilities:** * Migrate NFe data and upgrade Java 7 and JEE applications to Spring Boot and newer Java versions; * Develop and maintain **Backend** applications using **Java version 17** or higher, ensuring high performance and scalability; * Implement solutions adhering to **best programming practices**, **SOLID** principles, and **Clean Code**; * Participate in **code reviews** and collaborate with the team to continuously improve code quality; * Write and maintain **technical documentation** for developed solutions; * Perform **unit testing** and debugging to ensure functionality and code robustness. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Requirements to apply for this position:** * **On-site presence twice per week in Porto Alegre - RS;** * Solid experience in **Backend** development using **Java version 17** or higher; * Experience with Java development frameworks such as **Spring Boot**; * Knowledge of **best programming practices**, and **Clean Code** and **SOLID** principles; * Familiarity with **unit tests**, **integration tests**, and tools such as **JUnit**; * Experience with **microservices** and **distributed architectures**; * Knowledge of containerization using **Docker**; * Experience with source code versioning using **Git**; * Knowledge of **Quartz** for task scheduling; * Experience with **Sybase** or **SQL Server** databases; * Knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies (**Scrum**, **Kanban**); * Problem-solving skills and critical thinking. **Additional Information** **Here’s what you’ll get with us:** * Market-competitive remuneration; * Meal allowance; * Transportation allowance; * Health and dental plans; * Life insurance; * Flexible working hours; * Dress code: be yourself; * TotalPass: care for your physical and mental health. **About DB** We are a software house delivering tailored solutions.
