Job Summary Responsible for ensuring maximum availability and reliability of industrial assets. The Maintenance Coordinator leads technical teams, plans preventive and predictive interventions, and manages the department’s financial and material resources to ensure operational continuity and employee safety. 2\. Responsibilities and Duties Operational Management: * Plan, supervise, and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities on industrial machinery and facilities. * Develop and manage the maintenance schedule, prioritizing actions that minimize unplanned production stoppages. * Monitor performance indicators (KPIs), focusing on MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), MTTR (Mean Time To Repair), and Availability Rate. Team Leadership: * Lead and develop technicians, electricians, and mechanics. * Conduct technical and behavioral training. * Perform performance evaluations and ensure team alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. Administrative and Financial Management: * Manage third-party maintenance contracts and service providers. * Coordinate procurement of replacement parts and manage technical inventory. * Track maintenance costs against the established budget. Continuous Improvement and Safety: * Implement TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) methodologies and root cause failure analysis. * Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental (EHS) regulations. * Use and maintain Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work order logging and checklists. Institutional Interface: * Collaborate with Production Management to align maintenance windows with factory planning. **Requirements:** Required Qualifications * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related fields. (A solid technical education combined with extensive experience may also be considered). * Experience: Proven experience in leadership roles within industrial maintenance. Preference for professionals from concrete, mining, construction materials, or heavy industry sectors. * Technical Knowledge: o Proficiency in failure analysis tools and autonomous maintenance. o Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams. o Proficiency in asset management software and Microsoft Office suite.
