STORE ASSISTANT - Downtown

Description

Clothing store seeks a Store Assistant in Porto Alegre (Downtown). Lojas Torra is a retail chain offering a wide variety of products, including clothing, footwear, and accessories. Focused on affordable pricing, the company aims to meet its customers' needs across Brazil. **Responsibilities:** Provide information or sell financial products; inform customers about payment methods and benefits; perform cash drawer withdrawals as requested by supervisors or when observing excessive cash on hand, for security purposes. Organize and display merchandise; conduct sales and achieve targets; attend to cashier requests regarding merchandise; ensure proper pricing of items in the sales area. Open the cash register by verifying the initial cash amount; serve customers who purchased products and/or services, registering and collecting the corresponding amounts. Ensure warehouse organization and cleanliness; receive delivery trucks; respond to and control warehousing and merchandise preparation processes for the sales floor; conduct inventory as requested by leadership and/or the loss prevention department; support efficient and rapid merchandise flow from warehouse to store. Verify merchandise entry and exit in the fitting room area, observing the established item limit; collect shopping bags and hangers and deliver them to respective departments. Maintain a clean and organized workplace to directly and positively influence work practices, ensuring higher quality in daily tasks. Perform other related duties as directed by supervisors. Previous experience as Sales Assistant, Store Attendant, Sales Consultant, or Store Receptionist may indicate suitability for some of the responsibilities of this position. High school diploma required.
