**Main activities:** * **Program creation and optimization:** Create cutting programs for laser and plasma machines using CAD/CAM software, aiming to ensure cutting accuracy and efficiency while minimizing material waste. * **Reading and interpreting technical drawings:** Analyze technical drawings to understand dimensions, tolerances, and cutting requirements, translating this information into machine language. * **Setting and adjusting parameters:** Define cutting parameters such as speed, laser/plasma power, type of gas, among others, for each material type and thickness. * **Nesting:** Optimize the placement of parts on the material to be cut, aiming to minimize waste (nesting). **Skills:** * **Knowledge of CAD/CAM software:** Familiarity with software such as Lantek, Autodesk, SolidWorks, among others, for program creation and editing. * **Knowledge of G-code:** Understanding of G-code, the standard programming language for CNC machines. * **Knowledge of cutting processes:** Familiarity with the principles of laser and plasma cutting, including different materials and their characteristics. * **Interpretation of technical drawings:** Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately. * **Problem-solving skills:** Ability to identify and resolve issues related to the cutting process. * **Attention to detail:** Essential to ensure cutting precision and quality. * **Teamwork:** Ability to collaborate with operators and other team members. **Requirements:** Reading and interpretation of drawings Metrology Technical course in the field Proven experience Job type: Full-time, Permanent CLT Pay: from BRL 3,000.00 per month Benefits: * Health insurance * Partnerships and commercial discounts * Meal allowance Experience: * Laser and plasma cutting machines (Preferred) * Drawing and programming (Preferred)
