**WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU**
* **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
* **Computer Skills:** Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite (mandatory).
* **Languages:** Intermediate English (mandatory); advanced English preferred.
* **Driver’s License Class B – mandatory.**
* **Mandatory availability for travel.**

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE**
* Proven, solid experience in managing and implementing Capex engineering projects (mandatory).
* Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (PMBOK, PMO). PMP or similar certification/knowledge preferred.
* Knowledge of power systems, industrial automation, substations, and power generation.
* Familiarity with applicable technical standards (NR\-10, ABNT, NBR, IEC).
* Experience with industrial equipment and/or projects.
**️ WHAT YOU WILL DO**
* Responsible for estimating costs and timelines for project development;
* Responsible for specifying equipment and materials in accordance with specific technical standards, as well as procuring services;
* Responsible for project documentation and approvals (FEL’s 2 and 3\), supporting FEL\-1 development, preparing equipment and EPC package purchase requisitions, performing technical equalizations for procurement processes, issuing purchase requisitions and service record sheets;
* Responsible for communicating and guiding all project team members regarding all project phases;
* Responsible for post-start-up monitoring, generating project-related pending item lists;
**️ YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
* Ensure zero accidents across all departmental activities;
* Act as Contract Manager for service providers, in accordance with Sylvamo policies;
* Analyze alternatives to improve equipment and processes across paper production, finishing, pulp, recovery, utilities, administrative, and logistics areas;
* Develop strategic and cost reduction (cost reduction) projects within the FEL system: lead from conceptual phase, feasibility studies, and scope definition through field implementation;
* Financial performance management of projects: ensure investments remain within approved budgets, monitor costs, conduct post-audits, and propose optimization solutions;
* Safety accountability: ensure all project phases comply with technical and regulatory standards (NR\-10, ABNT, IEC, and Sylvamo standards), prioritizing personnel and asset integrity;
* Schedule and timeline management: develop and monitor execution plans, ensuring adherence to established milestones and mitigating delay risks;
* Multidisciplinary integration: coordinate interfaces with process, mechanical, and automation teams to guarantee technical and operational consistency of projects;
* Technical specification and supplier evaluation: prepare specifications for electrical equipment and systems, participate in procurement processes, and assess technical proposals;
* Field monitoring: oversee execution of electrical works, testing, and commissioning, ensuring compliance with design and engineering best practices;
* Reporting and KPIs: prepare technical and managerial reports, tracking project KPIs related to cost, schedule, safety, and quality;
* Ensure control and archiving of technical documentation for executed projects per Sylvamo standards;
* Ensure equipment registration and allocation in SAP system.
