Learn more at irco.com and join us to take control of your future. **Job Overview** The Materials Analyst plays a critical role in inventory management within the company, responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, focusing on reducing stockouts, and optimizing inventory levels to ensure operational efficiency. Plans, executes, analyzes, and controls cyclic inventory. The primary function of the Materials Analyst is to ensure inventory balance and alignment, flagging obsolete materials and excess inventory that incur additional storage costs. **Responsibilities** * Inventory Execution: Plan and execute inventories (cyclic, rotating, and full), including physical counting of stored products and goods; * Discrepancy Analysis: Identify and analyze root causes of variances between physical inventory and system records, proposing and implementing corrective and preventive actions (root cause analysis); * Inventory Management: Control receipts, issuances, transfers; investigate stockouts; manage ABC analysis; track inventory turnover/OSMI; perform adjustments and FIFO compliance; * Process Improvement: Support implementation and continuous improvement of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and inventory control systems; * Ensure inventory accuracy and optimize processes for material control, storage, and movement, aiming for supply chain efficiency and cost reduction. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, advanced level); * Familiarity with technology tools such as ERP systems (e.g., SAP); * Prior experience in inventory (cyclic/general), stock management, or materials control—preferably in industrial or large-scale environments with high SKU counts (approximately 30,000 SKUs); * Experience in problem-solving and implementing process improvement solutions; * Intermediate English proficiency. **Preferred Qualifications** * Familiarity with Power BI, Power Query, and/or Pivot Tables; * Experience working with WMS and data collectors is a plus. **Travel and Work Modality** * On-site work Ingersoll Rand Inc.
