HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR (FOCUSED ON CRAWLER TRACTOR)

Job Summary: Operates crawler tractors for earthmoving, leveling, excavation, and soil compaction tasks, ensuring safety and performing basic maintenance. Key Highlights: 1. Operating crawler tractors on various construction sites 2. Preventive maintenance of heavy machinery 3. Reading and interpreting topographic project drawings #### **Responsibilities** * Operate crawler tractors to perform earthmoving, land leveling, excavation, filling, deforestation, and soil compaction. * Conduct daily equipment inspections (checklists) before operations commence, verifying oil, fuel, coolant, hydraulic fluid levels, brake system condition, and track/tire conditions. * Perform basic preventive maintenance, such as lubrication, cleaning, and minor adjustments, reporting mechanical or electrical abnormalities to the maintenance team. * Interpret and follow work instructions, engineering plans, and topographic markings to ensure operational accuracy. * Ensure operational safety by using personal protective equipment (PPE) and strictly adhering to occupational safety regulations (NRs). * Communicate effectively with field crews and supervisors via radio or other means to coordinate activities and maintain workflow continuity. * Complete logbooks and production reports, recording working hours, tasks performed, and fuel consumption. #### **Requirements** * Proven experience (minimum 3 years) operating crawler tractors on civil construction, earthmoving, mining, or agribusiness projects. * Valid Brazilian National Driver’s License (CNH), Category B or higher, with EAR (Exerce Atividade Remunerada) endorsement. * Professional certification for Crawler Tractor Operator issued by a recognized institution. * Basic knowledge of heavy machinery mechanics for fault identification and preventive maintenance execution. * Ability to read and interpret civil engineering project drawings, topographic maps, and field survey markings. * Knowledge of occupational safety regulations applicable to heavy machinery operation, particularly NR-11, NR-12, and NR-31 (if applicable). * Completed elementary education. #### **Skills** * Crawler Tractor Operation * Earthmoving * Land Leveling * Excavation * Soil Compaction * Preventive Maintenance of Heavy Machinery * Reading Topographic Project Drawings * Equipment Inspection * Occupational Safety (NRs) ### **Employment Type:** CLT ### **Benefits:** Meal Voucher, Performance Bonus, Health Insurance Plan, Dental Insurance Plan, Wellhub (formerly Gympass), Life Insurance, Transportation Allowance/Commute Support, Accommodation, On-site Meals ### **Department:** OPERATIONAL
