**Job Category** ================ Production & Skilled Trades**Position Summary** ==================== Perform winding of calendered and extruded material, HDSS compound cutting, and product packaging.**Responsibilities** ==================== Responsibilities: **Wind up Calandra e Wind up ERG** – Perform safety checklist, verify scale calibration, weigh calendered and extruded material, package material, conduct 100% inspection of produced material, assist with film or box changes, complete quality checklist documentation, palletize finished material, cut strips (a parallel process to winding), maintain area free from contamination, perform winding of calendered and extruded material, cut HDSS compound. **Corte HDSS** – Safety checklist, power on cutting machine by plugging cable into outlet. Turn on compressed air, start cutting machine, turn on HDSS weighing scale, turn on computer and printer to generate labels, start machine at low speed, fill out checklist (complete according to quality specifications), measure tape width and thickness using caliper, measure compound temperature in the box using a pyrometer with penetration probe, place test specimen before the metal detector, aligned with the direction rubber sheet will travel through the cutting machine. Pull the test specimen using string so it passes through the metal detector, verify scale accuracy using standard weights, assemble cardboard boxes for storing cut compound, line cardboard boxes with plastic, always leaving excess plastic on the outer part of the box so that, upon completion, it can fully cover the box and prevent any contact between rubber and cardboard that could cause contamination, apply tape to pre-cut cardboard boxes, seal boxes containing already-packaged material and perform their weighing and palletization. **Minimum Qualifications** ========================== High school diploma or equivalent **What we offer as a company** At Bridgestone, what truly matters is generating opportunities for co-creation while simultaneously stimulating your curiosity and creativity to make mobility safer, more efficient, and more sustainable for present and future generations.
