Guidance to junior technicians and compliance with safety regulations ### **Job: Senior Electromechanical Technician – Plastic Industry** **About the Position:** We are seeking a **Senior Electromechanical Technician** to work in Industrial Maintenance at a company in the plastic sector. This professional will be responsible for ensuring high availability of production equipment, operating autonomously in complex diagnostics, maintenance of plastic processing machines, and providing technical support to operations. ### **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform **preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance** on industrial machines and equipment; * Conduct advanced diagnostics of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures; * Maintain **plastic process machines**, such as extruders, peripherals, cooling systems, and raw material feeding systems; * Interpret and act upon **electrical diagrams, control schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals**; * Work with electrical panels, motors, frequency inverters, sensors, PLCs, and automated systems; * Perform equipment assembly, alignment, adjustment, and testing; * Support technical improvements, machine modifications, and increased reliability; * Guide junior technicians and other team members; * Record maintenance interventions and failure history; * Ensure compliance with safety (NRs), quality, and environmental regulations. ### **Requirements:** * Completed technical course in Electromechanics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related fields; * Solid experience as an **Electromechanical Technician in an industrial environment**; * Strong knowledge of electrical controls, motors, frequency inverters, sensors, and electrical panels; * Experience in industrial mechanical maintenance (gearboxes, bearings, pumps, transmission systems, etc.); * Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings; * Knowledge of industrial automation and PLCs; * NR-10 certification is mandatory (NR-12 is a plus); * Analytical, proactive profile with ability to work autonomously. ### **Advantages:** * Experience in the **plastic industry**; * Hands-on experience with **extruder maintenance** (screws, barrels, heating, temperature control, traction systems, cutting, etc.); * Knowledge of temperature control and cooling systems; * Experience in transformation industries. **Work Location:** **Macuco, ZIP Code 13279-451** **Employment Type:** CLT **Benefits:** GNDI / Intermédica Health Insurance (national coverage), Bradesco Dental Assistance, Group Life Insurance, On-site Meals, Meal Voucher, and Profit Sharing (PLR).
