




The Full Refrigeration Technician will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial refrigeration equipment across the entire Mecalor equipment line. In addition to technical execution, the technician will be responsible for diagnosing faults, proposing effective solutions, and contributing to optimizing system operations. **Job Requirements:** * **Technical education in Refrigeration, Mechanics, or related fields.** * Experience in maintenance of chillers and industrial refrigeration equipment. * Solid knowledge of electrical and automation systems applied to refrigeration. * Ability to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams. * Experience handling refrigerants and thermal fluids. Competencies for observation and development: During the adaptation and experience period, the following competencies—considered essential for successful job performance—should be observed and fostered: * Analytical ability for fault diagnosis. * Organization and precision in service execution. * Strong communication skills for technical support and customer interaction. * Proactivity and commitment to service quality. * Good communication **Key Responsibilities:** * Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance across the entire Mecalor equipment line. * Diagnose faults and propose effective solutions to optimize equipment performance. * Replace components such as compressors, expansion valves, sensors, among others. * Fault Diagnosis and Problem Solving: * Conduct tests and measurements to identify mechanical, electrical, and automation faults. * Perform operational adjustments to ensure refrigeration system efficiency. * Apply procedures to optimize equipment energy consumption. * Address and resolve faults. * Technical Documentation and Reporting: * Document performed services in forms and internal systems. * Prepare detailed reports on identified faults and recommendations for improvements. * Inform supervision about potential interventions that may impact operational continuity. * Performance Monitoring and Technical Support: * Monitor equipment performance and suggest technical improvements. * Provide technical support to internal teams and customers, as needed. * Participate in implementing new technologies and maintenance methods. * Safety and Compliance: * Ensure all interventions comply with technical and safety standards. * Work in accordance with environmental regulations and standards for handling refrigerants. * Guarantee proper use of PPE and organization of materials and tools. * Training and Development: * Conduct training and guidance for junior technicians and assistants. * Pursue continuous improvement through technical training and certifications. **Short trips availability required.**
