You will drive a proactive safety and sustainability culture across Brazilian operations while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong cross\-functional collaboration. **Why do we need you?** ----------------------- * Lead the implementation and enforcement of Sealed Air’s Zero Harm EHS policies across Brazil, ensuring full regulatory and company compliance. * Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees and contractors to reinforce health, safety, and environmental standards. * Oversee inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and drive corrective and preventive actions. * Lead incident investigations, reporting, root cause analysis, and implementation of lessons learned. * Ensure compliance with Brazilian regulatory authorities, including MPT, CETESB, IBAMA, ICMBio, Corpo de Bombeiros, ANVISA/SIVISA, and other applicable entities. * Manage EHS documentation, permits, licenses, and regulatory submissions, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. * Monitor Zero Harm KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with sustainability and corporate objectives. * Lead and develop the EHS team, providing coaching, performance management, task allocation, and professional development, while integrating EHS requirements into business operations and projects. **What do you need to be successful?** -------------------------------------- * **Education \& Certification:** **Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, with postgraduate specialization in Occupational Health and Safety Engineering. Professional registration with CREA is required.** * **English is a must.** * Strong knowledge of Brazilian EHS regulatory framework and compliance requirements. * Expertise in occupational health, safety, environmental management systems, risk assessment, and incident investigation. * Experience managing EHS programs, documentation control, permits, and regulatory reporting. * Ability to lead, coach, and develop EHS professionals within matrix and cross\-functional environments. * Experience supporting sustainability initiatives and environmental performance improvement. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving capabilities, including root cause analysis. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and digital reporting and data analysis tools. * Ability to travel within the region as needed to support sites and projects.
