We want to meet you! **Responsibilities and Duties** **Your Role as a Transformation Protagonist:** * Collaborate with members of the Reverse Engineering \& Analysis of Cyber Threats team. * Investigate, analyze, and document attacks. * Identify new indicators of compromise and propose mitigation solutions. * Monitor threat intelligence sharing sources among security researchers and establish networking with internal and external researchers. * Create reports and documentation for processes, research, or artifact analysis, and present them to stakeholders and team members. * Engage directly with teams across all areas responsible for developing endpoint solutions, RiskOps, and especially Research. * Develop automation tools for team processes—including analysis, reverse engineering, collector projects, sandboxes, and more. * Collaborate on internal team technologies, such as code deobfuscation, configuration extractors, sandbox analysis automation scripts, detection rules (Internal Technology), and hunting rules (Yara). **Requirements and Qualifications** **What We’re Looking for to Join Our \#TopazTeam:** * Preferred degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or related fields. * Solid knowledge of reverse engineering for desktop, mobile, or embedded applications. * Completion of courses such as Zero2Automated, Mente Binária (CERO and AMO), or equivalent demonstrated expertise. * Solid knowledge of Windows Internals (WinAPIs, Handles, Threads, Modules, Objects, Processes, Jobs, Services, and concepts from the book "Windows Internals"). * Solid understanding of file formats: PE, ELF, and MACH\-O. * Solid experience with debuggers (x64DBG or WinDBG). * Solid experience with disassemblers (IDA, Binary Ninja, Ghidra, or JEB). * Intel Assembly (16-bit, x86, x86\_64), MASM syntax (IDA’s default). * VirusTotal (Hunting, Retrohunting, and Live Hunting). * Proficiency in coding in one or more programming languages—preferably C\+\+ and Python. * Continuous updates on techniques used by malware developers or cybercriminals. **Preferred Qualifications** * A blog featuring articles and research, or a GitHub profile with projects related to reverse engineering, malware analysis, or OS Internals (non-malware development, community-beneficial). * Advanced Windows Internals (NT Kernel: I/O, Memory Manager, KiSystemCall, filters, registry, documented and undocumented internal structures). * Linux Internals, macOS/iOS (XNU) Internals, and Android Internals. * Proficiency in team programming languages: Python, JavaScript, Java, C\#, and C/C\+\+. * Knowledge of ARMv7 or ARMv8\. * Experience as a Malware Analyst, Reverse Engineer, Anti-Fraud Analyst, or equivalent role. * Knowledge of hypervisors, drivers, and techniques used by EDRs and antivirus software. * Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. * Knowledge of REGEX. * Basic knowledge of LLVM Passes, Lifters, and common obfuscation techniques used by commercial/public obfuscators such as CFF, Opaque, Virtual Machines, Encode Branches, Encode Literals, Implicit Flow, Mutation, and MBA. **Additional Information** Your experience at Topaz is our top priority!
