Job Summary:
A professional responsible for operating and maintaining extruder machines, ensuring quality and safety in part production, while performing continuous inspections and adjustments.
Key Highlights:
1. Operate and adjust extruders to produce parts according to specifications.
2. Perform visual and dimensional inspections for quality control.
3. Carry out preventive maintenance and troubleshoot extruder issues.
Feed the extruder with raw materials according to production process specifications, ensuring materials are properly mixed and ready for extrusion.
Configure and operate the extruder machine, adjusting parameters such as temperature, speed, and pressure to ensure production of parts with desired characteristics.
Monitor the extrusion process continuously, checking machine parameters to ensure stability and final product quality.
Perform visual and dimensional inspections on the extruded product, verifying compliance with specifications for thickness, shape, and finish, and identifying potential defects.
Perform basic preventive maintenance tasks on the machine, such as cleaning and lubrication, to ensure proper operation and extend service life.
Detect and resolve issues during extruder operation, such as blockages and material failures, reporting to the supervisor if technical intervention is required.
Strictly adhere to safety regulations, using required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and applying safe practices when handling the extruder.
**Requirements:**
Completed High School Education
Knowledge of plastic types and their properties (HDPE, PVC, PP, etc.);
Technical training (mechanical, electromechanical, chemical) is a plus, with specific factory-based training;
Basic knowledge of Reading and Interpreting Engineering Drawings;
