Negotiate the supply of raw materials by visiting rural properties in the region and meeting with producers who supply milk to the company for product inspection, ensuring adherence to established quality standards and advising them on milk collection, handling, and transportation—aiming to improve the quality of collected milk—as well as prospecting new suppliers and/or negotiating milk purchase terms. **Responsibilities and Duties** Visit rural properties in the region to assist in prospecting potential suppliers and/or negotiating purchase terms, approaching rural producers to assess supply feasibility, evaluating site conditions, dairy cattle, and production processes, negotiating prices and purchase terms, etc., and reporting to superiors for decision-making and authorization of required actions. * Maintain close contact with rural producers, preserving sound commercial relationships, reinforcing the company’s image and presence, forwarding extra-contractual requests, accommodating early payment requests, negotiating prices and supply terms, etc. * Visit producers and register rural producers supplying milk to the company, aiming to inspect the product and ensure compliance with the company’s Quality Control standards and technical regulations. * * Inspect hygienic conditions at the milking site and equipment used, analyze product samples, and advise suppliers on proper care of dairy cattle, pasture management, milk collection, handling, and transportation. Monitor laboratory analyses of incoming raw materials to guide rural producers and transporters regarding any issues arising from product quality or transportation. * Control the supply of materials to transport companies to ensure proper maintenance and operation of road tankers when requested—or upon identification of irregularities that could compromise cargo quality during transport—recording such supplies for control and reimbursement purposes. * Stay informed about emerging market trends potentially impacting your activities through bibliographic research, internet access, courses and training, supplier and specialized institution contacts focused on dairy farming procedures and quality, aiming for continuous improvement of your work. * * Ensure safety during all activities—whether traveling to visits or handling and inspecting dairy cattle—using appropriate tools and strictly adhering to applicable hygiene guidelines. * Travel between the company and rural milk-supplying properties, mapping routes using GPS devices to plan optimal routes, thereby guiding transport companies and complying with relevant technical regulations. * Conduct training sessions for transporters and suppliers, advising them on milk collection and handling practices to maintain raw material quality and comply with current legislation, issuing reports on conducted trainings for record-keeping. * Prepare performance maps and summary charts for area evaluation and control by superiors, as well as collect and forward to raw material suppliers the results of analyses of collected products for their awareness. * Issue reports on performed visits, documenting facts, control data, and occurrences to provide information for monitoring, analysis, and decision-making by area superiors. * Monitor daily entries and exits of producers. * Implement milk procurement system plans and programs, providing direct technical guidance to producers to maintain the volume, quality, and cost (milk and freight) of milk established by the company. **Requirements and Qualifications** Completed high school education plus a Technical Degree in Animal Husbandry or Agriculture, or a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, or related fields. Mandatory: Good Agricultural and Livestock Practices Brazilian National Driver’s License, Category B.
