Participate in digital projects and internal automation initiatives Check-Up Medicina e Diagnóstico, the third-largest laboratory in the state of Minas Gerais by number of tests processed—with services in Clinical Analysis and Imaging Diagnosis—is seeking a **Software Development Intern**. **Job Objective** Support the Information Technology team in developing, maintaining, and enhancing Check-Up’s internal systems, contributing to digital transformation projects, process automation, system integration, data analysis, and improved experience for patients, employees, and business areas. The intern will work alongside the development team, gaining hands-on experience in software development, APIs, web systems, databases, BI, automation, and corporate application support. **Main Responsibilities** * Support the development and maintenance of internal systems. * Assist in creating screens, features, APIs, and integrations. * Support bug fixes and enhancements to existing applications. * Assist in testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation of new features. * Support documentation of systems, processes, workflows, and business rules. * Participate in digital projects such as pre-registration, digital check-in, internal automation, integrations with health insurance providers and healthcare systems. * Support database queries and validations. * Assist in creating and maintaining dashboards, reports, and KPIs. * Support the team in sustaining internal systems and fulfilling business-area requests. * Learn and apply best practices in development, version control, code organization, and information security. **Requirements** * Currently enrolled in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Analysis and Development, or related fields. * Basic knowledge of programming logic. * Familiarity with web development concepts. * Basic knowledge of databases and SQL. * Interest in learning about system development, automation, integrations, and data analysis. * Strong communication skills, organizational ability, and eagerness to learn. **Desirable Skills** * Familiarity with **Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, React, or Django**. * Understanding of RESTful APIs. * Basic knowledge of Git or source code versioning. * Interest in **Power BI**, dashboards, and KPIs. * Basic knowledge of Excel or data analysis tools. * Interest in process automation and digital solutions. * Familiarity with tools such as GitHub, Planner, GLPI, Trello, or similar platforms. **Behavioral Profile** * Proactivity and curiosity to learn. * Organization and attention to detail. * Effective communication with the team. * Ability to collaborate well in group settings. * Commitment to deadlines and assigned tasks. * Interest in technology, innovation, and continuous improvement. * Responsibility regarding company data, systems, and information. **Advantages** * Academic, personal, or small-scale system development projects. * Basic web development knowledge. * Interest in healthcare, automation, BI, and digital transformation. * Ability to understand processes and propose simple improvements. * Desire for professional growth in software development.
