From infinitely recyclable aluminum cans and cups to aerosol bottles, our mission is to contribute to better communities, societies, and a better world.** **Key Responsibilities:** * Maintain reliability of electro-electronic equipment used in can manufacturing and utility processes through scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance, aiming to meet or exceed the planned number of cans to be produced. * Perform corrective electrical and/or electronic maintenance on equipment comprising machines involved in the manufacturing process, leveraging knowledge of functionality (manuals and electrical schematics) to preserve operational integrity and availability. * Conduct corrective maintenance on general electrical installations, using knowledge and interpretation of layouts (floor plans) and/or electrical schematics to optimize electrical intervention time. * Operate substations and generator/compressor controls in case of power failure or interruption to the Plant, following operational procedures and safety regulations to restore or shut down power. * Propose process improvements by developing electrical automation and power distribution projects for the factory, supporting continuous improvement. * Keep work areas and equipment clean and organized according to Good Manufacturing Practices and the 5S methodology, using and encouraging fellow coworkers to adopt Lean tools and resolve non-conformities identified during audits, thereby optimizing processes, preventing accidents, and avoiding product contamination. * Comply with all applicable standards and procedures, and actively participate in company programs related to occupational safety, occupational health, environmental protection, etc., to meet legal and internal requirements. **What We’re Looking For:** **Required** * Completed technical course in Electronics, Electrotechnics, Mechatronics, or Automation (mandatory); \*Bachelor’s degree does not substitute for the technical qualification; * Knowledge of PLC programming — Rockwell; * Knowledge of electrical control systems. **Desirable** * Basic technical English; * NR10\. **Additional Information:** * **Work Location:** Extrema/MG * **Work Model:** On-site * **Working Hours:** 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., 4x4 shift schedule, rotating shifts every 6 months **Ball Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
