**Location:** Monte Azul/MG
**Area:** Machining / Tooling
We are seeking a **Lathe Operator** with machining experience who is interested in working integrally within production processes, paying attention to technical data, drawings, and continuous improvement. The professional will perform hands-on part inspection as well as administrative tasks and customer service.
️ **Responsibilities**
* Interpret technical drawings and process specifications.
* Update and follow process sheets for key machined parts.
* Monitor tool consumption and report deviations or excesses.
* Support per-part cost control, identifying potential variances.
* Conduct technical tests of tools and processes, recording results.
* Maintain organization of the workstation, tools, and materials.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in machining processes.
* Support inventory counts and control of non-moving materials, when required.
* Provide technical support to customers, addressing inquiries and assisting as needed.
**Requirements**
* Technical or technological education in Mechanical Engineering, Machining, or related fields.
* Proven experience in machining, including operation of lathes (conventional and/or CNC) and milling machines.
* Knowledge of technical drawing interpretation and basic metrology.
* Familiarity with process control and continuous improvement concepts.
* Microsoft Office: basic proficiency.
* English: basic level (preferred).
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience in tooling and high-volume machining environments.
* Experience conducting tool testing and process optimization.
* Analytical, organized profile with strong attention to detail.
**Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM**
**Salary: R$ 3.000 to R$ 3.500**
