Sort and prepare fabrics and notions. Iron, fold, and organize dresses. Perform basting stitches and minor repairs. Assist with garment fittings when required. Organize the workshop and maintain a clean environment. Track incoming and outgoing garments for adjustments. Previous experience as a Sewing Assistant, Tailoring Assistant, Assistant Seamstress, or Sewing Machine Operator may indicate suitability for some of the tasks in this position. High school diploma required.
