We have a very special way of working and we do much more than develop and market systems; our routine is driven by a culture of knowledge management, people development, and a work environment that fosters relationships based on respect, diversity, and the essence of our values: * We are protagonists * We feel proud to belong * We work in networks and with passion * We value the past, live the present, and build the future * We act responsibly * We celebrate human relationships **Responsibilities and duties** * Ensure the availability, stability, scalability, and security of the Shift datacenter environment through preventive and reactive actions; * Provide technical support to Shift customers regarding their technology environment, including servers, network devices, and telecommunications; * Recommend the necessary infrastructure for onboarding new clients (database and application/web servers, telecommunications infrastructure, licenses, backup units, network devices, firewalls, and workstations); * Perform routine and simple administrative tasks on the server fleet that comprises the Shift solution for datacenter (SaaS platform); * Continuously monitor Shift datacenter resources related to processing, memory, data storage, alert messages, and infrastructure and application errors; * Install, validate, and monitor the execution of backup routines within the Shift environment (datacenter); * Install backup routines on client infrastructures (on\-premise), either during onboarding or upon request; * Monitor and assist in periodic backup recovery tests to validate data integrity; * Periodically assist in disseminating materials containing guidance on best practices and information security recommendations to Shift customers; * Assist in projecting, through analysis of historical data, expected growth in resource consumption at the Shift datacenter; * Assist in managing risks associated with the operation of the Shift datacenter, including performing activities aimed at mitigating them; * Assist in root cause analysis of all medium, high, and critical severity incidents occurring in the Shift datacenter; * Monitor emerging technologies in the market and suggest tools that streamline IT operations; * Assist in conducting proof-of-concept tests to validate the applicability of new technologies in the Shift datacenter environment; * Assist in completing change requests (RDMs) for all operations to be performed in the Shift datacenter production environment; * Assist weekly in the technical defense of RDM executions related to infrastructure in the technical committee (TAB); * Assist, if necessary, in presenting to the change management committee (CAB) approved change plans from the technical committee, along with their risks, impacts, involved resources, and prioritization, for awareness and approval; * Complete tasks requested by Shift customers and internal teams; * Assist in analyzing and implementing automation tools for configurations, continuous delivery, provisioning, agile infrastructure deployment, service monitoring, and infrastructure monitoring; * Assist in calculating infrastructure team indicators and promoting critical analysis of them; * Assess customer needs, define activity scope, and estimate effort. **Requirements and qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields, completed or in progress; * Knowledge of Windows and Linux systems, TCP/IP networks, data communication, and network interconnections; * Experience in installation, administration, and support of Linux servers (RedHat-based distributions) and Microsoft Windows Server/Desktop; * Networking knowledge (DHCP, DNS, Linux Network Tools, NFS); * Knowledge of backup concepts and tools (Commvault, Veeam); * Bash Scripting; * VMWare; * Zabbix.
