Senior Occupational Health and Safety Technician

We are looking for a **Senior Occupational Health and Safety Technician** to join the **SSMA team** in **Guariba/SP.** **Responsibilities and duties** **WHAT YOUR DAY TO DAY WILL LOOK LIKE:** * Develop and implement safety programs such as the Risk Management Program (PGR) and the Occupational Health Medical Control Program (PCMSO) * Plan and conduct workplace inspections within the area to ensure compliance with regulations and procedures. * Propose preventive and corrective measures to control multiple occupational risks (physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic, and accident-related). * Support the implementation of risk analysis tools (AST, POP, PAE, PCEP, Work Permits). * Support accident and incident investigations, analyzing material losses and events involving people. * Inspect and ensure the availability of emergency equipment. * Prepare technical reports aimed at providing strategic recommendations. * Manage safety indicators, prepare presentations, and participate in meetings. * Conduct meetings and drills with the Emergency Brigade. * Develop prevention initiatives with CIPA, Occupational Health, and Environment. * Conduct safety training. * Lead SSMA orientation sessions for new employees. * Support the implementation of company standards and procedures. * Support and apply safety campaigns. * Assist in the development of SSMA information bulletins. * Comply with the company's SSMA (Safety, Health, and Environment) regulations; and * Perform other related tasks. **Requirements and qualifications** **WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:** * Technical degree in Occupational Health and Safety * Registration with MTB (Brazilian Ministry of Labor) * Class B driver's license (CNH B) * Intermediate level in Microsoft Office * Preferred: Experience in occupational health and safety routines within companies in the sugarcane-alcohol sector or similar industries. * Availability to work on a 6x1 shift schedule and rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, or night); * **Must reside in Guariba/SP, Taquaritinga/SP, Santa Ernestina/SP, Jaboticabal/SP, Matão/SP, Motuca/SP, or Dobrada/SP.** **Additional information** **SELECTION PROCESS STEPS:** Our process includes 3 main stages (there may be additional ones, and you will be informed if you progress): * Application—completion of this form and additional data if necessary. * HR interview—a conversation to get to know each other. * Leadership interview: a more technical discussion to further explain day-to-day responsibilities and challenges.
