




The Services Department is responsible for ensuring the operation of our customers' wind farms, guaranteeing optimal performance of each turbine throughout its lifetime. The role is to ensure turbines operate at maximum capacity, delivering the best possible energy production for our customers. As a fundamental team in maintaining long-term customer loyalty. Part of the Services Department, the Special Projects team delivers solutions for situations we may not have encountered before—large-scale, complex, high-risk, and high-business-impact scenarios. This is the team that confronts the unknown, bringing structure and solutions to the challenges we face. Our department confidently undertakes projects with varying complexity, risk, and cost. **Responsibilities:** * As a Senior Blade Technician, you will collaborate in the blade maintenance process, including preventive and corrective activities and blade inspections, in accordance with corporate guidelines, quality certifications, and legal regulations, aiming to reduce service costs and ensure agreed service levels; * Monitor blade maintenance-related activities to ensure service level agreements and minimize service costs; * Inspect and assess the operational condition of evaluated blades, recording results in maintenance information systems to ensure data reliability and compliance with information procedures; * Repair blades according to repair criteria and procedures defined by VESTAS; * Perform duties in accordance with safety standards and quality procedures related to blade maintenance activities—from awareness through to audit processes—to ensure service level agreements and regulatory compliance; * Respond to and efficiently supervise resolution of issues raised by the Service Operations team. **Qualifications:** * Technical diploma in mechanics, electrical engineering, chemistry, or composites; * A bachelor’s degree is highly valued; * Experience in the wind energy industry or with blades and related processes as a primary area of work; * Solid knowledge of composites (matrix and reinforcement evaluation), repair processes, material quantification, and specification; * Significant experience in wind blade inspection and repair; * Experience in blade damage assessment is highly valued; * Experience in managing and coordinating subcontractors and suppliers is highly valued; * Knowledge of service operations and a strong understanding of the commercial value proposition of the service business—where balancing product quality, lifespan, and customer needs is always critical—will be highly valued; * IRATA Level 3 training and certification, with documented experience; * Familiarity with V82, V90, V100, V110, V136, and V150 blades. **Competencies:** * Leadership profile, dynamic and proactive; * Data management capability and proficiency with tools such as MS Project, Excel, Word; valid and active CREA or CFT registration; * Valid IRATA registration; * Valid driver’s license; * This position requires frequent travel between Brazilian states. **APPLICATIONS UNTIL 12/26/2025** **Join Vestas and advance your career in an inspiring environment at the world’s largest wind energy producer—where sustainability is at the core of everything we do.** **Our commitment to a fair hiring process** At Vestas, we evaluate all candidates solely based on their professional experience, education, and relevant skills.
