**100% On-site \- Santos/SP** **Job Mission** We are looking for an Import Assistant to join our team! The position will be in the Delivery department, responsible for the final stage of the import process, ensuring each step is executed accurately and within agreed timelines. We seek a detail-oriented, proactive individual with a strong sense of urgency who can handle unforeseen situations, collaborate across different departments, and resolve issues swiftly. It is essential to demonstrate ownership, analytical thinking, and a process-oriented mindset to ensure the promise made to the customer becomes a real and efficient delivery. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Send purchase contracts to suppliers in China * Monitor customs clearance, shipment, document corrections, and operational follow-up * Review, correct, and validate documents required to initiate imports (e.g., Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, certificates, etc.) * Organize and consolidate information for submission to the customs broker * Coordinate quality inspections and factory audits with Chinese suppliers * Monitor production, international payments, and financial verification * Organize, validate, and store pre-shipment documentation * Update spreadsheets, internal systems, and tracking reports, ensuring traceability and information organization * Contribute continuous improvement suggestions based on daily routines and interactions **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields * Proven experience in import processes * Intermediate English proficiency * Intermediate Excel proficiency * Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and strict deadline management * Analytical, proactive profile with a sense of urgency **Preferred Qualifications** * Good interpersonal communication skills * Prior experience as a Customs Broker Assistant * Experience managing costs, cash flow, and import simulations * Direct experience working with international suppliers, especially in China * Experience handling import documentation such as Proforma Invoice, Packing List, BL, and DI **Benefits** Transportation Benefit or Fuel Benefit (Flash card); Meal Allowance (Flash card); Lunch Allowance (Flash card); ️‍ ️ Gym partnership (TotalPass); Health insurance (SulAmérica, with 30% co-payment per procedure, no monthly fee); Dental insurance (SulAmérica, no cost); SESC membership valid nationwide; Merit-based career development plan (professional growth aligned with individual results and performance); ️ Annual tenure awards; Bonus for achieving the company’s annual target; Partnership with Star Bem (affordable physical and mental health consultations/therapies); Life insurance (Porto Seguro, no cost); Discounts and partnerships with universities (undergraduate and postgraduate programs); Discounts and automatic debit at pharmacies (Droga Raia and Drogasil).
