Position: Junior Architect
Job Responsibilities:
Project Development
* Prepare floor plans, sections, elevations, and construction details.
* Develop preliminary studies, schematic designs, and construction documents.
* Create 3D modeling and renderings (Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, etc.).
* Coordinate complementary projects (electrical, plumbing, structural).
* Revise drawings according to client or team changes.
2\. Project Management and Organization
* Monitor deadlines, schedules, and deliverables.
* Organize digital folders, file versions, and revisions.
* Support task distribution among team members and interns.
* Ensure adherence to the office’s technical and graphic standards.
* Update project control spreadsheets and status reports.
3\. Documentation and Approvals
* Prepare ARTs (Technical Responsibility Annotations), technical memoranda, specification sheets, and reports.
* Compile documentation for public agency and municipal approvals.
* Ensure compliance with ABNT technical standards and municipal regulations.
* Support licensing and regularization processes for construction projects.
4\. Technical Supervision and Site Oversight
* Conduct field surveys and measurements.
* Supervise construction execution and prepare technical reports.
* Record evaluations and adjustments communicated to the team and client.
* Participate in technical meetings and supervised site visits.
5\. Commercial Support and Presentations
* Attend meetings with clients and suppliers.
* Assist in preparing technical proposals and estimates.
* Prepare presentations and graphic materials for clients and events.
6\. Internal Organization and Management
* Collaborate in organizing the office’s physical and digital infrastructure.
* Support administrative and technical management with up-to-date information.
* Standardize office documents, templates, and models.
* Maintain integrated communication with commercial and administrative departments.
Required Competencies and Technical Skills
* Software: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
Technical knowledge: ABNT standards, urban legislation, project coordination.
* Skills: organization, communication, proactivity, and time management.
* Ability to work independently and responsibly as a self-employed professional (PJ).
Education and Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urban Planning (with active registration at CAU).
* Self-employed professional (PJ) authorized to issue invoices and ARTs.
* Minimum experience: 1–3 years in architecture offices.
* Availability for technical visits, meetings, and site supervision.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break.
