Strategically located near the Port of Santos. The complex has an annual production capacity of approximately 1.5 million tons of essential inputs for the chemical and agricultural supply chains—including technical ammonium nitrate, ammonia, and nitric acid—reinforcing our key role in the national industry. More than 700 professionals work across operations that combine scale, operational safety, efficiency, and strategic relevance. **Position Description | Responsibilities** --------------------------------------------- As a **Boilermaker I**, your mission will be to perform boilermaking and industrial maintenance services safely, accurately, and in accordance with standardized procedures, ensuring the integrity of equipment, piping, and structures at the Cubatão unit. You will read technical drawings, fabricate and assemble components, and support preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance—all while complying with Safety, Health, and Environment (SSHE) requirements and internal company procedures. Key responsibilities include: * Perform industrial boilermaking activities—including layout, fabrication, assembly, and adjustment of metal parts, piping, and fittings—according to technical drawings, project specifications, and work orders; * Conduct preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on equipment, valves, and piping, contributing to the unit’s reliability and operational continuity; * Read and interpret technical and isometric drawings to ensure accurate execution of tasks, precise measurements, and quality finishing of components; * Operate boilermaking machinery, tools, and equipment—including grinders, drills, bending machines, shears, and torches—following technical and safety standards; * Perform cutting, heating, assembly, and disassembly of components, ensuring workplace organization, cleanliness, and proper use of materials and tools; * Support the assembly of metallic structures and rolling activities, as required by maintenance or area projects; * Participate in maintenance shutdowns, carrying out preparations, execution, and support activities while respecting deadlines, procedures, and SSHE requirements; * Conduct visual inspections of equipment and piping to identify leaks, wear, or anomalies and initiate necessary corrective actions; * Perform equipment and installation tests following maintenance interventions to ensure operational reliability; * Prepare and maintain records and reports of performed activities, replaced or refurbished components, ensuring traceability of interventions; * Comply with operational procedures, work instructions, and policies of the Integrated Management System, with emphasis on Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality; * Contribute to a safe, collaborative, and organized workplace by correctly using PPE, adhering to internal regulations, and guiding third parties on low-complexity tasks when applicable. **Profile | Education and Knowledge** -------------------------------------- * Collaborative mindset, ownership mentality, curiosity, and respect for diversity. * Completed high school education (mandatory); * Technical training or vocational course in Boilermaking, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields (mandatory); * Prior experience in industrial boilermaking, maintenance, or fabrication of metal components (entry-level to intermediate); * Ability to read and interpret technical and isometric drawings, correctly applying measurements, symbols, and specifications; * Knowledge of layout, cutting, assembly, and finishing of boilermaking components; * Proficiency in using industrial tools and equipment—including grinders, drills, bending machines, shears, and torches; * Basic metrology knowledge, including use of tape measures, calipers, squares, and similar measuring instruments; * Fundamental welding knowledge for assembly (e.g., shielded metal arc welding or MIG/MAG); * Willingness to work in an industrial environment, including participation in maintenance shutdowns and working different shifts as needed; * Ability to work collaboratively, follow technical guidance, and contribute to a safe and cooperative workplace. **Additional Information** -------------------------- The **Boilermaking team at Cubatão Unit 1** works closely with Maintenance and Operations teams and plays a vital role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and continuity of industrial processes. With strong field presence, the team is responsible for fabrication, assembly, and maintenance of plant components, piping, and metallic structures.
