




Provide and coordinate nursing care for patients within the care line under their responsibility. Manage patient care, prioritize urgent and emergency cases, and optimize access management. Ensure individualized, continuous, and safe treatment for patients, contributing to rapid patient recovery and follow-up within their therapeutic plan. **Responsibilities and duties** * Provide daily nursing care for patients within the care line under their responsibility, including: vital signs monitoring, preparation and administration of medications, nursing assessments, feeding, hygiene, wound dressings, repositioning, implementation of nursing care systematization, etc.; * Coordinate daily responses to emergencies and urgent situations promptly, accurately, and efficiently, ensuring the emergency cart is equipped with necessary medications, appropriate equipment for each scenario, and qualified staff to attend patients at risk of death; * Daily guidance for nurses, nursing technicians, and assistants regarding complex patients, providing information on their pathologies and clinical conditions, ensuring high-quality care and contributing to rapid patient recovery; * Weekly review of documentation completed by others, nursing prescriptions, and procedures performed, focusing on the quality of nursing care; * Daily coordination of patient admission activities, reception, monitoring via equipment, oxygen therapy, medication administration according to medical prescriptions, recording vital signs data, specimen collection, etc.; * Contribute to the control of materials and medications required for the unit's operation. Maintain all equipment in proper working condition, sending them for maintenance when damaged; * Optimize and expedite daily patient testing to ensure timely results; * Monitor specific medical procedures such as insertion of central catheters, drains, probes, etc.; * Inform the unit physician of any patient complications, such as changes in blood pressure, glucose levels, heart rate, and other vital parameters; * Assist medical teams in patient care: prepare vasoactive drugs, assist in invasive procedures (chest drain, thoracentesis, central venous access puncture), perform upper airway aspiration, prepare medications, and position patients during orotracheal intubation performed by physicians; * Collaborate with Continuing Education and the Inpatient Unit Nurse to analyze Care, Performance, and Process Indicators, proposing solutions and setting goals to meet indicator requirements; * Participate whenever summoned in meetings related to institutional quality certification, acting as a strong communicator and disseminator of information and guidelines; * Manage/participate weekly in goal planning for the Clinical Units where patients are located, attending multidisciplinary meetings to define goals and improvement actions aligned with the institution’s strategic planning; * Participate in groups and committees according to criteria established by immediate supervisors, such as EMTN, SCIH, Surgical Center Collegiate, SESMT, biosafety, reprocessing, and blood derivatives; * Provide pre- and post-operative guidance, when applicable, to patients and families; * Actively participate daily in the Rapid Response Team within their units; * Attend periodic meetings with Supervision, Coordination, and Nursing Division for decision-making and information sharing; * Ensure daily updates of the Kanban; * Perform other duties relevant to the position. **Requirements and qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Nursing; * Postgraduate specialization in the field of practice desirable (Internal Medicine, Surgical Clinic, Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Care, Pediatrics, Neonatology, Surgical Center); * Active COREN registration. **Additional information** Positions available: From 08:00 AM to 02:00 PM From 02:00 PM to 08:00 PM **SPDM** – Associação Paulista para o Desenvolvimento da Medicina (São Paulo Association for the Development of Medicine) is a non-profit civil association of philanthropic nature, recognized as being of federal, state, and municipal public utility in its headquarters city, respectively by decrees No. 57,925 of March 4, 1966, No. 40,103 of May 17, 1962, and No. 8,911 of July 30, 1970.
