Ensures optimal utilization of ingredients and adherence to good hygiene practices. **Job Description:** We are seeking a **Bakery Assistant** to prepare doughs, fillings, desserts, and other recipes produced in-house, supporting the department's daily operations with a focus on quality, organization, hygiene, and standardization, always following company procedures. **Requirements** * Completed elementary education (preferred); * Prior experience in bakery, pastry shop, or kitchen is a plus; * Basic knowledge of food handling and good hygiene practices; * Organization, attention to detail, and responsibility; * Agility, commitment, and teamwork; * Availability to work rotating shifts. **Desired Behavioral Profile** * Proactivity and sense of responsibility; * Meticulousness and attention to product quality; * Good communication and professional demeanor; * Ability to follow recipes, routines, and procedures; * Willingness to learn and grow technically within the department. **Summary of Task Responsibilities** * Prepare doughs, fillings, toppings, and other in-house recipes according to established standards; * Assist in assembling, finishing, and organizing bakery products; * Ensure optimal utilization of all ingredients used in the department to avoid waste; * Request ingredients and work materials from inventory as required by operational needs; * Strictly adhere to SOPs for hygiene, cleaning, organization, and food safety; * Keep ingredient expiration labels consistently updated; * Perform basic checks on the functionality of department equipment; * Properly remove and dispose of trash; * Support other departments whenever necessary; * Maintain clean, ironed uniform and professional personal appearance; * Comply with and respect company policies, rules, and regulations.
