Contribute to food preparation quality and efficiency **Job Description** Assist in kitchen preparation, organization, and cleaning activities, ensuring necessary support to the cooking team and contributing to food preparation quality, efficiency, and hygiene. **Main Activities and Responsibilities** * Clean, peel, cut, and portion food items according to the chef's instructions; * Assist in dish pre-preparation (mise en place), organizing ingredients and utensils; * Stock workstations and operational areas with required supplies during the shift; * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, utensils, equipment, and storage areas; * Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing goods, observing expiration dates and storage conditions; * Strictly follow hygiene and food safety standards (Good Food Handling Practices); * Support waste control and conscious use of supplies; * Assist in plating dishes under the chef's supervision; * Dispose of waste according to established procedures; * Perform other related support tasks for the kitchen team.
