Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate Elevator Operator for the healthcare sector to ensure safe and efficient transportation of people and materials, maintaining elevator organization and optimal operation. Continuous professional development opportunities The São Bernardo do Campo Health Complex, a leading company in the healthcare sector, is looking for an Elevator Operator to join our dedicated team. We seek a professional passionate about healthcare, with technical skills and advanced knowledge in nursing. Responsibilities: Operate the elevator for passenger, cargo, material, and equipment transportation; control and verify elevator occupancy according to safety regulations; Provide information, select floors, announce floor destinations, and perform related tasks; Prioritize critical patients’ transportation and accompany them to their final destination, except for patients under aerosol precaution; Assist in waste and soiled linen collection processes; elevator operator involvement takes approximately 50 minutes; Monitor the number of users and goods transported: Elevator 5: Used for waste and soiled linen collection, and transport of support services (building maintenance, clinical engineering, pharmacy, warehouse, laundry, etc.); Elevator 6: Used for patient transportation, food delivery, and staff transportation; Elevator 7: Used for patient and staff transportation; Assist companions and patients with accurate information; Ensure proper elevator operation and internal cleanliness, identifying and reporting malfunctions or other abnormalities; Operate elevators by activating control devices; Register the floor requested by passengers; Control and verify elevator occupancy according to safety regulations; comply with floor rotation schedule; Manually open elevator doors during emergencies caused by automatic system failure or power outage; Provide the public with information regarding locations of individuals or service departments; Ensure proper elevator operation and internal cleanliness, and report malfunctions.
